We discover the Grado lagoon exploring it on different types of boats, from typical batela, the classic boat. The visit is accompanied by a licensed guide and includes navigation along the canals of the lagoon east, visiting a fish farm and stop the Island of Barbana.

Grado - Isola di Barbana:
Excursion to the Marian Shrine located on the island of Barbana, the largest of the islands of the lagoon. A short boat (30 minutes) along the canals of the lagoon east you reach the island on which stands the shrine dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, place of worship and place of pilgrimage. On the island there are the bar and a restaurant

La Batela

the Batela The batela, is flat-bottomed boat typical of the lagoon of Venice and the lagoon of Grado. It is a means to load, length between nine and twelve meters and a tonnage of between ten and forty tons. The line is slender and appears similar to that of a sandolo, but with an edge piúalto, and with a stern raised. The propulsion is rowing, from one to four rowers, with position of Venetian rowing.
